Film Title: One Crawls Over the Spiders Web
Created for a short film, this title sequence introduces the film’s stylish, comedic heist tone through bold motion design and playful storytelling. Inspired by pop-art aesthetics and classic heist films, the visuals use saturated reds, yellows, and blacks to reflect each character’s personality and intensity.
Leaning into insect metaphors as narrative devices, I used smooth transitions and typography that interact with their environment. Each element, from the text to the motion tracking, reinforces the idea of entrapment and wit, tying directly into the film’s central themes. The sequence culminates in a seamless handoff to the rolling credits, continuing the visual language with movement and rhythm.
