Developed a dynamic motion package for the GO Viva lifestyle channel, capturing its vibrant, adventurous spirit through bold typography, fluid animations, and an uplifting beach-inspired aesthetic. The final package honours GO Viva’s mission to celebrate travel, culture, and creativity.

Step 2: Moodboard and Defining the Visual Voice
Color Palette: The vibrant combination of orange, yellow, and shades of blue evokes a sunny, beach-inspired aesthetic, radiating warmth, positivity, and freedom. Natural tones like beige and brown complement the bright colours, grounding the energy with a relaxed, approachable feel. Video footage is colour graded to fit with this colour scheme.
Typography: Modern, light, and fun fonts maintain readability while enhancing the youthful, inclusive, and energetic personality of the brand. The choice of typefaces supports a playful yet polished aesthetic that aligns with the target audience's expectations.
Step 3: Creating Channel Marks & Defining Audio Approach
Station Mark and Channel Animations: The station mark and channel animations are anchored in the design potential of the 'O' in GO Viva. Concentric circles radiating from the 'O' utilize the brand’s color palette to emphasize energy and motion. This design choice transforms a simple letter into a captivating visual centerpiece that encapsulates the channel's fun, dynamic essence.
Auditory Identity: The channel intros feature music that is vibrant, fun, and slightly quirky, with a touch of spunk. This lighthearted yet dynamic soundscape mirrors the channel's visual energy, creating an immersive experience that resonates emotionally with the audience.
Step 5: Motion Plan Sketches & General Plan
Transitions and Effects: Transitions, such as waves wiping off the screen and uncovering new clips, establish a seamless and thematic flow between segments. These wave effects symbolize movement, adventure, and renewal, aligning with the brand's vibrant and beachy theme. Sand-blowing effects enhance the visual storytelling by creating dynamic interactions with text and shapes, reinforcing the playful yet natural vibe.
Background and Graphics: Waves and other beach-inspired motifs provide movement and visual interest in key moments, such as “Coming Up Next” segments. These elements blend seamlessly with the brand’s identity, reinforcing the channel’s lively and approachable personality.
