The overall story conveyed in this poster is one where the light princess is floating in the sky, towards the light, while the prince drowns into the water while attempting to hold the princess down. This visual representation is literal and metaphorical as the light princess is adamant in wanting to maintain the “lightness” and the prince brings gravity to her life, which eventually leads to him drowning in the water.
The thematic colours chosen are shades of blue, white, yellow, and black. The blue and black generally serve as the background with water and the sky making up the foundation of the story. The light is created in yellow and white to contrast against the background and also create an association with realistic lighting.

Two main fonts have been chosen for the text in the poster – Baskerville and Tiro Kannada. These fonts have clean and smooth curved strokes that add to the feeling of a fairytale. When used in capital letters, Baskerville gives a clean finished look that includes strong straight lines. The title and release dates are deemed as the most important information and hence, are made to be the biggest with the title being the largest text and placed in the center.
